A soldier never dies. Countless hours of training. Odd work hours, day and night. Cold, hungry, thirsty, wet, fatigued, scared, courageous, missing family and friends is that woman or man ready to give her/his life if necessary to defend his home outstanding and free. If God claimed your return to His Kingdom, a soldier never dies. You will always live in the gratitude of our hearts. Canadian soldiers and veterans thank you for your sacrifice and for a job well done.

Dear members/veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces. My name is Santiago and I am in Grade 7. I would like to thank you for your service and for protecting this country. It is very hard to be in the army, and I appreciate you soldiers that keep going no matter how tough it gets. You troops have made many great sacrifices , all for the protection of this country. You have put your life on the line and risk the chance of never seeing your family again, which is something I don't think I could ever do. I truly thank you brave soldiers. I may never experience as much pain as you troops have. I hope you are all healthy, physically and mentally. Thank you for your services - Santiago.

Dear veterans, Hi, this is me, a grade 8 student. I wanted to come on here and let you know you do not go unnoticed, unrecognized, or unappreciated. You are an amazing, brave, hardworking, and just overall incredible human being. You work day in and day out to protect Canada and Canadians like me, even people from other countries. You have changed the lives of so many and many more to come. I know being here and doing this did not come easily and YOU have made many sacrifices; I thank you for doing so. Thank you for being who you are and doing what you are doing; it means the world. I hope you know that you are doing something many people are too afraid to do but YOU are out there, protecting and saving lives, cities, and countries. Your bravery and endurance are remarkable. Thank you.

Adam - 2024-11-12

Hello, my name is Adam, I’m a student. I wanna write this to motivate soldiers and show them we’re all rooting for them with positivity. To every soldier, keep hanging there, soon, you’ll get to go back to your homes, play with your kids, see your wives and be happy. Give it your all and you’ll surely be able to go back home. I’m sure if you give your 100% on the task, you’ll be able to conquer anything. I know you must feel scared, war is terrible. I can’t even imagine how many horrors you see every day and I’m terribly sorry. I have an unlimited amount of respect for you guys.

Alyssa - 2024-11-12

I want to thank you for your service. Everyday, you decide to take a risk. That risk means protecting every one of us. It means someone back home potentially losing you, a loved one and even losing yourself in these hard time/places. We all know the loneliness you can feel by losing someone or yourself because you are then left helpless. Writing a big text won't help you but I can guarantie you that I'll always be grateful for your hard and tiring work. If you ever think that someone is not proud of you, even if you don't know me, I will.

Éléonor - 2024-11-12

I am a teenager charged to tell you a message about the fact that you are a soldier. Im not agree with all of your choice because I don't know you but im respecting you because i wouldn't be able to do what you did for our nation, for someone or for the reason that you want. Its sure that maybe you were far away of your home for a large period of time with the insecurity and the hunger with you. Or maybe you had the honor and the dignity of your combats.

Maya - 2024-11-12

Hello, my name is Maya and I am a student.Today, I wnat to write you a letter because yesterday it was rememverance day. I think that for a military it is difficult tp let their family. If I had tole my family for years, I would be really sad and I would always think about them. I would also be scared to be wounded, like at the lags and not be able to walk anymore. I think that for a military it is difficult to not be worried every time. I wish you always remember that you are here to protect your country and we are all greatful !

Eliott Rousselle - 2024-11-12

Hello my name is Eliott and i'm doing this short text for an english project. I think that the challenges that you've faced just like losing someone that you like or loved is terrible because me, if i were in this situation I would be terrified. I don't think that i would stay in control in the middle of the war because that I don't think i would be able to see some people die or getting hurt real bad in front of me. I think that all the soldiers are brave. The emotions of the situations of the soldiers are is tuff for the mental health. I would be sad, scared, stressed and suprised of seeing some people that dies and got hurt. I am proud of all the soldiers and I'm proud of my country.

Samuel - 2024-11-12

Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for your service in general and for the protection of our country. You are kind people, attentive, skilfull and you are determined. You are so brave by putting your life at risk to help our country and leaving your family. If I was at your place I think I would be anxious, destabilized and I would be panicked. You are models for other peoples. Another time THANK YOU for your service and for the protection of our country.

Sara - 2024-11-12

Hi, I'm Sara. And I want to write you a letter because yesterday was rememberance day. And I think that you're really strong, because being a military is really difficult to face, and have many challenges. Like saying goodbye to your family, I think that it is really hard to leave them without knowing if you're going to come back. I think that you would feel sadness and loneliness. But you're doing this for a good cause and for the freedom of our country, even if you have to sacrifice your life. Also there is the challenge of living with the constant risk,is difficult to face. Because every day is getting worse than the one before and you don't know how much time is left for you. I wish you always remember that you helped the country and that we are grateful of your bravery and your help that because of you a lot of people are living a better life and that our country is free.

(I already did a message but I notice that I had a lot of mistakes) Hi! I'm a student of secondary two in Quebec. Right now, I'm writing to you to support you in this day of remembrance. Hope this message will know how to help you don't give up. You guys are strong people. I can't even imagine living more than one month without seeing my family. What I can say to you is to keep going and yes I know it's easier said than done but if you're in the army today, it is because you have a lot of potential. You can maybe feel a little bit disappointed or/and discouraged to not see your family and your loved ones, but remember also that all your effort will pay off. You have to be proud of yourself and I'm sure your family does. Otherwise, if you're not, I will for you!

Dear military member I want to say thank you. As a 13-year-old lgbtq+ girl with ADHD, and some mental health issues thank you for keeping me safe. Without members of the army people like me couldn't get our medication or have any rights. I like to do roller derby and ride my horse, without people fighting for our countries I probably wouldn't have these luxuries let alone an education. So, thank you for your sacrifice and thank you for keeping us safe. I appreciate your hard work as some of my family has been enslaved and killed in wars.

Braedy - 2024-11-12
