Dear soldier, My name is Sandrine. I'm 13 years old and almost 14! I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for your service. I’ve always admired the courage it takes to be in the military. It’s truly inspiring to know there are people who devote their lives to protecting others. I hope you’re doing well and thank you again for your service!
To the people who sacrificed themselves for our country, They reached the highest honor, to be able tyo defend the country for people like me to be able to live in a safe country. They had to live away from their family for months. Some of them even saw their friends be severely hurt.
Dear soldier, you risked your life for your country and it is the highest honor. Because of you, people like me are alive and live in a safe country. Unfortunately, it means you had to live far from your family for months. That is one of the unfortune of your job. You and thousands of people having to risk their life is very sad.

Dear Veteran, I am Alexander from Markham, Ontario. I just want to thank you for the service you have done. Your bravery is something that no one can rival. Canada honours and remembers you as the people who gave us freedom. You sacrificed so much for our country, you lost friends, didn’t see your family, and risked your life. I am so grateful for what you have done for us. You have everyone's respect for your courage and will to keep on fighting for our country. No matter how hard I try, I can never be more brave. Remember this quote, “Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear." That's what you are, a brave person, someone who will never back down against evil. You fought for our freedom, and now you will always be remembered in our hearts. The country we look at is because of your sacrifice and drive to give this beautiful country the freedom it deserves. You lost so much but kept on fighting for us. I can’t thank you enough for the time and effort you put in. I want you to know that all of Canada loves you, and that you are a hero. My name is Oliver and I live on Main Street in Stittsville. I go to St. Stephen Catholic School, and I am in grade four. I am thankful for veterans like you who fought for Canada so we can have peace and freedom. Your bravery and sacrifice mean a lot to me and to everyone in our country. I wear a poppy every year to remember all the soldiers who died in World War I, and we still do it today. This helps me think about your sacrifice and remember how much you gave. I love Canada because of its beautiful nature, the kindness of people, and the freedom we have. I know that we have these things because of veterans like you.
