Hi my name is Sophia. I am 9 years old and am in Grade 4 at St.Cecilia Catholic School in Ottawa. I’m not supposed to send this part but I just wanted you to know that there are a lot of students that sent letters like the same as me and I am happy to be one of them :). I play a lot of sports like soccer, ping pong, skiing, swimming, etc. I am very athletic but I also play the piano and I am level 4. My favourite food is sushi.

Dear Canadian Soldier,
Hello! My name is Emma! I am 9 years old and I am in grade 4 at St. Cecilia Catholic School in Ottawa. I haven’t decided what I’m going to be when I grow up. I favourite foods are mac and cheese and pizza. My favorite place is the park because there’s a lot of things you can do. In my house, I have about 10, 20, or 30 pet fishies (I couldn’t count them because most of them look alike). My pet fishies names are Golden Jr, Blue, Rainbow, Big Rainbow, Small Rainbow, Tiny Rainbow, and I call all the brown fishies, Brownies. How I got my fishies is my dad’s friend’s fishies got babies and now he has a lot, so he gave it to us. He gave us nine fishies. Then, the fishies got babies and now we have more then ten! My sister, Olivia feeds the fishies every day and I sometimes feed it. Also, I wish I had a dog.
I was wondering if you had any pets too and where do you live in Canada? In the military, what job do you have? Are you a girl or a boy? What’s your favourite colour? Do like mac and cheese? Do you have a brother or sister? Do you like to eat ice cream? Do you have any kids? If you do, what’s their name and how many to you have? Is is your favourite things to do?
