I am a proud military mother to an active member. Please know that our family supports ALL active members and veterans. Merry Christmas to all. Without you to support and defend Canada we would not enjoy the peaceful beautiful nation we call home.

Yes I do think of you , each of you.
Why? Because I’m at home . You’re not at your Home.
I can’t say anything to really make it different but I can say you are so much appreciated and you are special.
In the very uniform, the vessel, the bunk, the position . You make a difference.
In the quiet of your thoughts at Christmas I wish the Merry Christmas and the best of times with your mates.
Be well, be safe, be happy. I’m cheering and praying for you.
Hugs , Smiles, Love, Thank-you

Dear Canadian Armed Forces Members,
As the holidays approach, many of us are surrounded by familiar lights, warm traditions, and the comfort of home. I’m mindful that, for many of you, this season looks very different. Whether you’re deployed abroad, supporting operations here in Canada, or standing duty so others can rest—you are the reason so many of us can celebrate safely.
Your service doesn’t just protect our country; it creates quiet moments of peace that most Canadians never see, yet rely on every day. That impact is real, powerful, and deeply appreciated.
Wherever this message finds you, I hope you feel the gratitude of the people you serve—even if you are far from those you love. Thank you for the your resilience, the professionalism, and the sacrifices you continue to make, especially at this time of year.
Wishing you strength, connection, and moments of calm this holiday season.
Your service matters more than you know.
With sincere appreciation,
Laura

Dear member of the Canadian Armed Forces,
I would like to convey my congratulations to you and wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year, wherever you are right now. Thank you very much for your service. Your work is of great importance to all of us.
I moved to Canada 2 and a half years ago because of the war, and I understand how difficult the military path can be and what it means to serve for the safety of people and loved ones who are in a hostile country. Because of this situation, I began to respect the military even more.
I'm currently in school, and my goal is to enroll in RMC in a couple of years, so that in the future I can serve in the ranks of CAF and defend the country together with people like you.
If you have the opportunity and it doesn't cause any inconvenience, I would be very grateful for a short answer or a little advice. I would like to know how best to prepare for future service and joining the army. Any recommendations or words will be very important to me. (My email: kinsha.and@icloud.com)
Thank you again for everything you do. I wish you strength, health and safe days during this festive season.
Sincerely,
Daniil

I just want to thank you, each and every one of you, for everything you do and all you sacrifice for us and our country. That includes our veterans and the families of our our military. Your dedication, service and those who have given their lives, in my opinion, have never truly been given credit deserved for the bravery and selfishness shown. Our military has always been spoken by others with respect, because of how you represent Canada. I hope you know that all beloved not only us here in Canada but by many other countries. With all my respect and love to you and your families, I wish you all a very happy holiday and Merry Christmas

To all CAF members,
I used ChatGPT to help write this message, and I’m grateful for the chance to share it with you. Thank you for your dedication, your service, and the commitment you show to our country every single day. I pray that this season brings you good meals, good friends, loving family, and many bright, sunny days ahead.
This Christmas, I went big—decorating my yard and house from top to bottom, and definitely overspending on treats and gifts for the kids and the rest of the family. I have lots of children, and I’m planning to fill their stockings with more candy bars than they can probably carry.
Thank you again for everything you do. Wishing you peace, joy, and a truly blessed holiday season.

Christmas Prayer for Our CAF Members
We are grateful for the men and women of our armed forces who sacrifice time with their families to protect our freedoms. We ask for your protection and strength as they serve this Christmas. Be with their families at home and bring them comfort.
We pray for our veterans, that they may not feel alone and be surrounded by love and support.

From a Veteran of the CF, I know what it feels like to be away from family and friends during holidays. Just know that while most Canadians sit comfortably, you are busy actually making a difference somwhere! Take pride in your Canadian uniform and know that you are thought of with pride. God shield you from all negativity and always be the beacon of light. God bless and Merry Christmas / Happy holidays!
Elizabeth - 2025-12-02
Thank you for all you representing our country around the world. Being away for the holidays is hard. Take care of one another. You are appreciated.
