Thank you for all that you do to serve the people of this beautiful country, whether helping during an ice storm or risking your life in a war zone. May the Lord bless you and keep you safe. May He watch over your families while you are away protecting me and mine.
Dear Canadian Arm Forces, Words can't compete with how much gratitude I have towards you all. To give up your lives everyday and to leave your loved ones to serve for us is the most honorable thing a person can do. I'm so thankful that you make it so that me and my family can walk in peace. Make sure to never give up and thrive in all you do. God bless all your souls and may you rest well. Sincerely, Ionna
Hello, I hope this message finds you well and I hope your day is going great. I would like to thank you for your service and the safety you've sacrificed in order to protect others. I don't know where you are or what you do, but the fact that you are where you are proves that you are a good person deserving of a good life. My hope is that we eventually get to live in a world where you don't need to be in war and get to go home to your loved ones. I don't think I could ever do what you do on a daily basis, and be able to get up every morning in that situation. Have the best day that you can and I hope you can go home soon. Sincerely, Aby
Dear soldiers, Thank you for all of your hard work. Not one of you or one of your duties have gone unnoticed. My heart fills with peace when I think of all that you gave up for our safety. My gratitude towards you all is great. There is no one more fit for the job than you. Never give up. God bless. Sunserly, Lucy

I respect all of you as a Korean who is going to an army after 18. Due to you Canada could sleep peacefully without worrying about danger. We are relying on your sacrifice. I hope you could safely return to your beloved family. Appreciate for your service always.

Dear soldier, Thank you so much for all you have done for our country. You don’t even know me yet you put your life on the line everyday to protect me. Sometimes I don’t want to go to school or work and my job isn’t even scary so I can’t imagine what you feel everyday. I hope you know that I’m thinking about you and praying for you to be protected like you protect me. You are truly a hero.
Good evening Canadian Forces Member! Did you eat well today? Did you get enough sleep last night? Did you do something only for yourself lately? (read a book, write in a journal, pet all the dogs) If you're looking for a little self-care, I suggest you stay away from the news cycle right now. Our Southern neighbours have an election coming up, and the continual bombardment from the two sides is just daunting. So maybe watch a rerun of Friends instead? The one where Joey wears all of Chandler's clothes is a particular favourite, guaranteed to make you laugh. Hubby is watching tennis at the moment and I'd rather listen to The Wheels on the Bus on repeat, so congratulations! You're the newest recipient of my written word salad. It's been way too hot here the last couple of days, and as you likely know, big girls don't exist well in a hot world. I hope wherever you are tonight you are comfortable, safe, and you feel the love of your entire country before you put your head to pillow. Thank you isn't enough, but it's all I have. Now go brush your teeth. All my love, Jeannine VanderBeek

Hello from out beautiful country of Canada! I wish to pour out my sincere thanks to you for all you have done and continue to do. You are able to give us a life of peace and comfort knowing that we have the best people supporting us! We understand that this comes as a deep sacrifice and this is not lost on us. Prayers and blessings to you and your family always!
To all the soldiers, I'm not sure if you're appreciated enough. I recently ended a relationship with someone who was part of the German army and is now serving as a RCMP officer in a special unit. Witnessing and hearing about the things he has endured, like waking up thinking he's in a battle every night or feeling like everyone is an enemy and shutting everyone, including me, out, made me realize that people don't understand what you all go through on a daily basis, even when there's no war. The things you have to prepare yourselves for are not things every person is equipped to handle. I wish I could give each and every one of you a hug, and tell you that you'll be okay, that you are loved, and that God is there for you, regardless of whether you believe or not. Anyway, I just want to send you all positivity, love, and let you know that I pray for each and every one of you. You are loved and appreciated. Thank you for keeping us safe.
Dear Troops, I want to extend my greatest gratitude for all of the hard work and dedication that you have put out for your people and for the safety of all. We all look up to you as big brothers and sisters protecting us so that we may live our lives in safety while you put your lives on the line everyday. There is nothing more valuable than the work that you do, and I sincerely hope that you know how loved and appreciated you are for all that you do. Your bravery and hard work does NOT go unnoticed. I wish you nothing but Gods loving hand upon all of you as you continue to protect and serve. You serve us, now we must serve you with kind words and gratitude. Again, thank you for everything you give up everyday for us and for our country. bless.
Congratulations to Lieutenant-General Jennie Carignan on her appointment to succeed Gen Eyre as the new CDS. I am sure she will do an admirable job!
