Support Contract Recap
Objective
The Project Management Office for the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) may establish one or more In-Service Support (ISS) contracts based upon the overall CSC Support Solution that will be defined.
Requirements
To recapitalize the Royal Canadian Navy's surface combatant fleet by replacing and updating the capabilities found in both the retired Iroquois Class destroyers and the multi-role Halifax Class frigates and provide the necessary ammunition, training, support and infrastructure. The new Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) will ensure that Canada can continue to monitor and defend its waters and make significant contributions to international naval operations. The project will identify and acquire the necessary Integrated Logistics Support and award ISS contract(s) as required. The CSC Support Solution comprises the sum of the services, resources and information required to properly support each CSC ship throughout its in-service life.
