I appreciate and acknowledge how important and how hard It is to risk you’re life for others, I will never discount my gratitude and appreciation for the veterans in war making sure I can go home to my family. Dear Soldier/Veteran, My name is Alice and I attend Jasper Place High School. I was born here, in Edmonton and I love to spend my time with my friends, being active, shopping, or taking trips to the mountains. Not only on Remembrance day but year round I thank you for your service to our country and all that you’ve done. Thanks to all the physical and mental pain you’ve gone through to serve for us.
I appreciate all the people who stood up to protect our freedom that are no longer with us ,and I thank all the people still standing for that freedom.

I am in love with life, my friends and the relationships i have cultivated i wouldn't trade anything for. To be able to enjoy and indulge in my passions and interests daily is something im mot thankful enough for. Dear veteran, I cannot begin to express my gratitude towards all the veterans that fought and are currently fighting for the freedom of the country. I am so lucky that I live in a country in which I have so many freedoms. I am grateful that I can live in peace without fear of war. That is all thanks to people like you and the millions of soldiers who risked, and gave their lives for freedom and peace.
