Thank you for keeping Canada a safe place to live, and thank you a lot for doing one of the toughest jobs that nobody wants to do, but somebody has to do. I will always appreciate the military for allowing me to not have to worry about fighting people and killing them, or losing my friends in a war. Words alone cannot describe how thankful I am.

To whom this letter gets sent Hello my name is Lucius Lafontaine I am a grade 10 student at Jasper Place high school I write this letter to honor remembrance day and to honor you As you have made the bravest and most honorable choice one can make. joining the military to help the fight for freedom. and I am proud of you and how far you have come and I'm sure that many others are too. It's my hope that this letter encourages you to keep up the good fight. In fact I was considering joining the armed forces to bring some reason to my confusing and complicated life but if i do i'll probably never have the courage or valor that you have.
