To whom it may concern, Words cannot put into perspective how grateful I am for your military service. As a Ukrainian, I am knowledgeable when it comes to the horrors of warfare, as well as the detrimental effects that it has on our world. It rips apart families and destroys hundreds of thousands of lives. The lives of children, teenagers, adults, seniors... Lives are treated as nothing more than mere numbers. It makes me lose my faith in humanity. But then, there's people like you. Kind souls who dedicate their lives to protecting others. I have seen what war can lead to and I think living at that time must be hard for lots of people.
