Dear Service Member, I am an Edmonton High School student that was born and raised in Edmonton. I am half Japanese and half Chinese. Outside of school, I like to play sports and play video games with my friends. Thank you for the service that you saved for us when most of us were not born. Without you, many teenagers like me would not have access to quality education and freedom. Thanks to you, freedom of mobility and immigration were allowed in Canada and is the reason why my parents met. Without you, I would not be here today. In the near future, I wish for the world to be at peace and comfort with one another. Currently, various types of conflict are present, but It would be much better for us as a society to be interconnected and happy with each other. Thank you for your time, Samuel
To the service member who will receive this, Hello, I am a grade 11 student at an Edmonton high school. I’m born and raised in Canada. I just want to say thank you for the service you have given to Canada and its citizens. Your great sacrfices are what make Canada a great and peaceful place to live.
To the service member who might receive this. My name is Riley Way and I am a student at Jasper place high school in Edmonton. I’m a pretty average kid who likes to draw and hangout with friends. I just wanted to write this letter to let you know I am thankful for your service. And in honor of Remembrance Day I want to thank you for giving me and others the opportunity to live here and have my freedom to do the things I like. I hope the world sees peace. And that there won’t be a need for people to leave their homes to risk their lives for others.
Dear Veteran, The women and men who fought for our country, saved our country. YOU saved our country. Because of you, I can live without a fear of a war. Because of you and the others who risked their lives for a us, there is peace. Thank you, if it was not for you, I wouldn’t be able to be safe in my country.
Hi. I am interested in communicating with a member of the forces who is interested and receiving letters. I appreciate your service and would like you to feel you can have a personal connection to someone at home
Dear Veterans Thank you for keeping our country safe and making the world a better place. Thank you for keeping us safe. Thank you for sacrificing your life's for us. Thank you from the grade 2 class, Holy Family.
I'm very grateful for the life that I have but most importantly I’m grateful to the people who made my peaceful and happy life possible. One of which, being you. Thank you for your service to Canada and its people. Because of you I am able to go out and enjoy these activities without fear for my safety. I am able to make the choices I wish and am open to so many opportunities. That would not be possible without your service. You put your life on the line to ensure peace and safety for so many citizens and that is a debt that I cannot thank you enough for. When looking at other countries on the news and seeing the dark skies, and hearing the explosions, I am scared for them but become grateful for the life that I have. The life that is possible because of people like you, My hope for the future is that one day, there will be peace across the globe, and people around the world will not have to live in fear. With so many wars occurring right now, it is scary to think of what the citizens are going through and what the soldiers must endure. I know it is not likely, but one day I hope for everyone to realize that we are all just humans and there is no reason we cannot all just get along and work together, to make it less necessary for our own soldiers to put their lives on the line and instead enjoy the peace that they have fought so hard for. But until then, I thank you again for the peace you fight for for both us, and the future generations.
