Dear peacekeepers,
I can not thank you a nuff for all you have done for the country. And how you sacrificed lots of time and effort so we can live happily. I have seen what war can lead to and I think living at that time must be hard for lots of people. I hope at that time you still found peace and kindness and still had time to spend with your families.
My dad is a firefighter and has 24 hour shifts and we miss him lots, so not seeing your family for months.
At a time it must be very hard to do and go thro. I hope you don’t have to deal with any more and all those bad things. I’m thankful for all you have done for our country and. We are lucky to have you and all the veterans.

Dear Peacekeepers,
Thank you for sacrificing your lifes for our country. I had a great grandpa that sacrificed his life for our country and he thankfully survived but I never got to meet him because he passed away before I was born. I am so thankful that I can live in a safe country without being worried. I will wear a poppy every remembrance day to remember people I love that are sadly gone and people that sacrificed their lives for us. I hope you know that you guys are my heroes. I am so happy to have people help our country be a safe country.
I had a friend that lived in Ukraine but she had to move to Canada because her country was being destroyed by Russia. It is so kind for you guys to go to other countries to help them fight like for example Ukraine. I am glad there are no wars and fights in our country so I can stay safe here in Canada. I am so sorry that you have to leave your friends and family and they must be so scared of what is going to happen. Thank you for all you do.

I am so thankful for all of the people that sacrificed their time.
I am so appreciative of you all, it must be so hard to not be able to spend time with family and friends especially with Christmas right around the corner.
It must be so scary waking up in the morning, because I don't know how you do it.
It's amazing, I'm so thankful for all of you. Some people don't even realize how bad war really is. I promise I will wear a poppy every remembrance day to appreciate all that you do. You all are my heroes and I respect that I really, really don’t know how you do it. I am so grateful to have a free country without war.
All of my family is grateful for your service. Some of my ancestors I know fought in wars and sacrificed. We have so many privileges with you around. So thank you!

Nous avons la chance de vivre dans un pays qui maintien la paix à l'internationale. Les canadiens(nes) peuvent se rendre au travail, s'occuper des parents, familles et ami(e)s sans craindre. Mon souhait est que tous les soldats aient quelqu'un sur qui ils peuvent parler, se libérer ou simplement être pris dans leurs bras. Soldats = femme et homme. Letter to Veterans
Dear veterans,
Hello, I live in a lovely place called Ontario, Canada with my family. You wouldn’t believe how thankful and proud I am to know that you are sacrificing your lives to help and to serve for kids that don’t have that safety or loved ones in their lives. There isn’t anything that you can do more to make lives better then to go and save people
Who aren't so fortunate to have families to protect themselves. I wish the world was full of more people like you and fellow veterans. There are no words that can explain not only sacrificing and risking your life but you are sacrificing everything in your life: your family, your home, and your time. A special thanks to the heroes of Canada.

Thank you for helping serve our country. You don’t know how thankful and appreciative I am to have you help our country. I also have a brother that is joining the Canadian Armed Forces. I am very grateful that some of you fought for our country. It's unfortunate that some people wake up and wonder if they’ll survive or where they will get they’re next meal.
I have lots of gratitude that you put your blood, sweat and tears to help us be a safe country. I also know how it feels to be away from your family. I am now in Ontario, sort of far from my family. I hope you get to see your family around the holidays. Me and my family are super appreciative that you're working hard to just help us and protect the country. Thank you for all you have done.

Dear Peacekeepers,
I could never imagine waking up in the morning wondering if I’ll survive. Your job is to wake up and protect us by walking right into the danger. You put your lives at risk every day making sure everyone is safe before you make sure you’re safe. I haven’t even met you but I know that you have such courage, effort and perseverance. During world one and two I would hate for me or my family to be taken to the army at risk of life. Except you went and changed the world. Thanks to the army kids can worry a little bit less knowing that you're there. I don’t understand why people fight over land risking their own people, it’s just wrong. I wish people just live in peace and be happy with what they have. Me and my family are very close and we’d never be able for one of us to go to war. I’m grateful for all your hard work and dedication on making the world a better place.
