Objective
To replace many CAF generators under 70kW. For some systems, this will include new distribution systems, power management, and energy storage to achieve higher fuel savings.
Requirements
The Tactical Power System project will supply the necessary power to the multitude of electrical equipment used by the Canadian Armed Forces, such as radios, command posts, computers, lighting, heaters and air conditioning systems to be operated as designed. The distribution and management systems will include safe and suitable equipment and procedures to maintain electrical power systems on operations.
