Dear soldiers,
I am writing from a school in Ontario and I'm in Grade 6. This letter is to show how much we truly appreciate you. A friendly note to all the members of CAF, we all appreciate all the effort and dedication you put into serving Canada and our community. You are very brave and amazing!
If you ever feel alone or down, remember God will always be with you. If you think your job is useless and doesn’t mean anything, we remember you every day, look up to you, and recognize how much people you save! Your job is hard and everyone should acknowledge how hard you work every single day. Humans or animals, you will always have someone beside you cheering you on, filled with love and respect. God made you special in His eyes and for an amazing purpose, the strength and bravery you have is undeniable. In conclusion, I want to say thank you for fighting for freedom, keeping peace between our countries, and for your sacrifices to make Canada the beautiful, strong country we are today.
I hope everyday of your life is full of laughter and kindness. Even though we are not fighting in any wars right now I'm sure you still are doing lots of hard work and scary things. It’s scary to see people get injured and hurt, but you’ve been very courageous. Everyone will always honor your courage and be proud of your dedication and determination. Philippians 4:7 says, “and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” Thank you!

Dear Canadian Troops, November 9th 2025
My name is Elizabeth, I am in grade six, and I go to school in Markham, Ontario. I’d like to thank you all for your services and I hope you didn’t get too hurt trying to protect our country. I know that you aren’t able to see your friends, family, and loved ones, so I hope that you get to reunite with them soon. If you’re stationed in Canada or deployed around the world then may this letter bring you great joy and make your day a little better than it already is. Thank you for sacrificing / endangering your life to protect many others in Canada / other countries around the world. May we all remember those who died or got seriously injured while in war. We are forever grateful for your work and dedication and it is deeply appreciated all around the country. Your service means more than a few words can say thank you. Thank you to the Canadian veterans too for helping other countries fight in WW1 and WW2. It was a very brave and kind act for you to do. All of your commitment to protecting Canada and making peace around the world is very inspiring. You will always have my respect.
With sincere thanks,
Elizabeth

Dear Veteran, I am writing to you for school work. I live in Ontario and I am in grade 6. I want to thank you for risking your life for us. The amount of respect for you is beyond words. The work that you do is greatly valued and appreciated. Thank you for fighting and putting yourself in jeopardy for us to protect our country.
Every day, you put yourself in danger so that others can live in peace. You remind me that strength is not just about being strong, but instead being willing to serve others, even when it is hard.
Your dedication to this country is greatly admired and honored.A verse that inspires me is: “Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.” (Psalm 62:1-2). I hope this verse reminds you to stay strong and never give up during the hardest times.
Another memory verse reminds you to stay strong and courageous. This verse is Joshua 1:9. Joshua 1:9 says “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” This verse reminds me that God is always with you no matter where you go. I hope this message helps you bring comfort and encouragement.
