Thank the soldiers & veterans I want to thank all of the soldiers & veterans for risking their lives for us to live.They were even brave enough to join the army! They work hard for us to be safe everyday. We are lucky to to live in a safe country all thanks to the Canadian soldiers & veterans. We should thank them every single day. They stand up for their country & we should to. So lets be thankfully for living somewhere safe.
Why We Remember We remember them because they sacrificed their lives to save ours.They are the ones who make it safe for us to live our lives with peace and gratitude.We also have the poppy.The poppy is an amazing flower that also helps us remember them.And to me, it means "Remember the soldiers and veterans."Tat is why we have a whole day to remember the soldiers.Though Remembrance Day is sad, it has a deeper meaning than just sadness.It means to remember the people who died, and the survivors.We still have survivors to this day.Lots of my friends know veterans, or even have them in their family.I don't know how it feels to lose one, even though my grandpa was in the war.Otherwise, we thank you for your service. We are also thankful that they are willing to leave their loved ones to fight and provide a future for our country. They saved us by fighting and make a difference because Canada is still here. I hope you keep this message in your hearts and know how much we all appreciate you sacrificing your life. You have devoted so much time and life to make our country a free country as it is now. You have endured through a lot of losses, but for a greater good, to save your country. You helped all of us Canadians to be free, live in a peaceful country, and we can have safety within us. You soldiers are really brave to fight in a battlefield filled with violence and loss, if I were in your shoes, I would not be brave to fight, even on a field. We Canadians wear poppies on remembrance day and stand in silence to think of all of your good deeds for us. If you ever are troubled or scared, read this. “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9. This is a message that you soldiers do not be afraid, for God will be with you through hardships and rough times. I hope you read this letter to know that you are loved by God and us Canadians.
