If it happens to be your birthday (which I doubt) I wish you a happy birthday. Anyways I hope you have a wonderful rest of the year.

Hello,
Thank you for your service, protecting our country and preserving our freedom. Your job must be scary, and we are thinking about you. We appreciate you helping us live a normal peaceful life. Because of you we don't have to worry about horrible things happening to us here in Canada. We get to play sports, have food, go outside and play, we have fresh water, we get to learn at school, we get to see our friends every day and family too, we can practice our own religions, all because of you! We hope you get some time to have fun and take a break from working so hard! :)
We hope you get home safe and can see your friends and family soon.
Bayside Middle School, G7 Ms. Elder.

I am in a gr 10 Canadian history course and I've learned a lot about WW1 so far. I learned that there were very hard living conditions and the trenches were filled with rats and illnesses that would overrun soldiers. I know Canada played a big role in WW1 and the troops had to be brave and strong in order to overcome both the physical and mental battles they faced. I'm continuing to learn about the roles Canada played in war and I would like to thank all of the soldiers, whether they died protecting our country or made it back home. Thank you!
