(NORAD modernization)

Program New
Objective
DCFI intends to modernize, recapitalize and add new critical infrastructure, including Information Management/Information Technology (IT/IM) upgrades, to enable Canada’s ability to project air power in defence of North America for the coming decades.
Requirements
Given FFCP funding was never meant to modernize all Canadian domestic legacy fighter infrastructure, DCFI will deliver infrastructure elements that were beyond the scope of the fighter acquisition project, including supporting North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) requirements.
