Objective
This project will rebuild runway 12/30 to address the secondary runway's infrastructure deficiencies.
Runway 12/30 has exceeded its lifespan with the last pavement rehabilitation completed in 2001.
Requirements
- Remove 150mm thickness (section of runway between primary runway 08/26 and taxi Bravo) and 100mm thickness (from taxi Bravo to end of runway) of existing asphalt and repair underlying cracks full depth.
- Place 150mm and 100mm of new asphalt respectively and apply new paint markings (to entire runway).
- Replace all electrical edge and approach lighting (LED) to the runway.
- Grooving of new asphalt and existing concrete pavements.
