Objective
To examine the precision appraoch requirements at Royal Canadian Airfields with the aim of optimizing systems for the future operating environment.
Requirements
Project will replace legacy Instrument Landing System (ILS) precision approach aids at RCAF flying Wings where the airfield is operated by the Canadian Forces. The Precision Approach Radars (PAR) are not part of this project as they were replaced by the Aerodrome Precision Approach and Landing System (APALS) project.
