Objective

The project will be delivered in three implementation phases:

(a) Phase 1 (Completed) - procurement of the Local detection and Identification System.

The Local System consists of:

(b) Phase 2 (Completed) - procurement of a Personal System, which consists of detectors for individual soldiers; and

(c) Phase 3 (Underway) - procurement of a stand-off system, which consists of a sensor to detect and identify a chemical hazard at some distance from the detector’s location.
