National Veterans' Week Speakers Program

Request a speaker from the CAF

Teachers and community leaders can request speakers from the CAF to share their experiences with students or members of the community during Veterans’ Week.

There is no charge for any of the offerings made through our online request form.

Volunteer as a speaker

If you are a Regular or Reserve Force member, you must:

1. Get approval from your supervisor
2. Complete the online registration form

After you register, the NVWSP will contact you to arrange a speaking opportunity that fits your schedule.

Report your presentation

If a school or community group contacts you directly, you must:

1. Get approval from your chain of command
2. Submit your presentation details through the NVWSP Direct Request portal

Resources for presenters

A toolkit containing guidelines, speech templates, PowerPoint presentations for different audiences and videos is available to help CAF members prepare for their presentation.

You can access the toolkit on the CAF Resources page. A password is required and will be provided once you are registered.
